Business Management BSc (Hons)
DESCRIPTION OF COURSE: This program is available for a duration of three years or four years with a foundation course, and has multiple start dates in July and September. The course can be taken during the day, evening, or on weekends. In today's global business world, a management career that has an international perspective is essential. Whether you're starting your own business or working for a multinational corporation, studying business from a global perspective is a sensible choice. At ARU London, you can learn more about the management of complex issues like globalisation, sustainability, and intercultural communication through real-world case studies, market research pedagogy, and a strong theoretical foundation. The degree program covers all the major functional areas of business, including finance, marketing, human resources, and information systems. The course builds on this core knowledge and develops an understanding of the cultural, ethical, and interpersonal challenges that arise in today's multicultural global business environment. This includes issues like the competitive advantage of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), ethics and social responsibility, and technology, and how organisations use information to support global operations. In the final year of the program, the "Major Project" requires students to combine the skills and knowledge they have learned throughout the degree program with current academic research to further develop their professional expertise and career prospects. The course is divided into three years. In the first year, students study courses like Business Environment, Academic and Professional Skills, Economics for Business, and Business Finance. The second year covers topics like Legal Aspects of Business, Managing Human Resources, Principles and Practice of Marketing, Business Information, and Sustainability in Career Development. In the third year, students study Operational and Project Management, Business Strategy, Managing International Business, and complete an Undergraduate Major Project (Integrated Case Study).
